Hi, I’m Ms. Warren. A special education teacher, resource creator, and the heart behind Miss Warren’s Class, where we teach easier.

I believe that teaching doesn’t have to be overwhelming to be effective. With a focus on simplicity, accessibility, and inclusion, I create no-fluff lessons and supports that help all learners thrive, especially in special education and inclusive classrooms. My resources are built for real teachers with real classrooms, designed to save time without sacrificing quality.

My Teaching Journey

I’ve worked in special education across multiple grade levels and classroom models. From small-group interventions, toi self contained, to co-teaching environments, I’ve supported students with a wide range of academic and behavioral needs. I’ve taught in both public and charter school settings and have proudly served as part of IEP teams, curriculum development committees, and new-teacher mentorship programs. Every experience has deepened my commitment to making education more inclusive and sustainable for both teachers and students.

Over the years, I’ve seen firsthand how exhausting it can be to juggle data collection, IEP compliance, behavior management, and differentiated instruction, especially when you’re trying to meet everyone’s needs. But I’ve also seen the magic that happens when teachers have the right tools, clear systems, and a little bit of breathing room.

That’s why Miss Warren’s Class exists. To turn that chaos into clarity. I design resources that help you focus on what really matters: connecting with your students, celebrating their progress, and creating a classroom where every learner belongs.

At the end of the day, my goal is simple: to help teachers teach smarter, not harder—because inclusion should be practical, not stressful.

A Little More About Me

When I’m not lesson planning or building resources, you’ll probably find me curled up with a good book. I’m a full-on bibliophile. I love everything about reading—the feel of a new book, the escape of a strong fantasy world, the comfort of a cozy mystery. Reading has always been a huge part of my life, and that passion eventually led me to become a writer too.

I’m a published author with Forever Seven Press, where I write young adult fantasy and crime fiction. Creating stories that reflect the real struggles, hopes, and voices of young people is incredibly important to me. You can check out more about my writing journey and my books on my author page.

Outside the classroom and my writing life, I love all things creative. I’m a big fan of makeup and have a nail polish collection that keeps growing no matter how many times I promise myself I have enough. I might keep my teaching resources clean and simple, but my nails are usually bright, bold, and full of personality.

I find a lot of joy in the little things. Whether it’s a perfectly smooth pen, a clean planner spread, or a student finally mastering a skill we’ve worked hard on together, those are the moments that keep me grounded and inspired.

Here, We Teach Easier

Whether you’re new to the classroom or have been teaching for years, I’m here to help you simplify your workflow and support every learner in your care. Through my shop, blog, and resources, I aim to make lesson planning less stressful, instruction more inclusive, and your teacher life just a little easier.

Thanks for being here. I’m so glad you are.
